I received the cloud box as a baby shower gift for my son who is now 6 months old. For the most part I like it, but it’s not perfect.I love having a portable noise and light machine. The lights/projections are very basic, but still cute. My favorite feature is the melodies and sound effects paired with lights. Playing ocean or forest sounds or melodies absolutely helps my baby’s settle down and sleep. The stories are great for keeping him entertained, even though he’s too young to really understand them, I think the sounds of voices and the lights are interesting for him and they keep him busy when he’s playing independently. I like that it’s portable and there aren’t small parts to lose or choke on. I also like that it has a Spanish option, because we are a bilingual family.The biggest down side is that the stories themselves are kind of dumb, or they have strange lessons in them. It’s nothing over the top, but if these were printed in a story book, I wouldn’t buy it or read it my kids. I don’t know how to describe it other than that they are very random, and they almost sound like they are written by AI. Since my baby is too little to understand I don’t mind that much, but I will probably phase this toy out when he gets older, and we’ll look at a better quality story telling toy with more variety for stories.I also wish there were more options for the lights, like the ability to cycle through the different colors on a timer with simple melodies or something like that.Overall it’s a cool toy that I enjoy having for my baby and I’m happy we received it as a gift, but I don’t know if I would spend my own money on it. It’s a bit expensive for what it does. Knowing what I know now, I might have just looked for a better light projector and story telling toy, even if they were separate products.

Although we haven’t used all the features yet, knowing that this can grow with our baby is a comforting thought.Overall, pretty happy with this. It's a delightful combination of light, sound, and story, making it an ideal companion for creating a peaceful bedtime atmosphere for our little one.
